This project looked at casting experimentation as well as the interplay between different
materials, in this case it was brass and cement.
Taking inspiration from the camera, Iris uses the iris diaphragm mechanism to control the
amount of light that is emitted. In this way, it’s not about capturing light as it is with
photography, but about letting it out.
